Cedar Croft Nurseries
Our most recent project was developed for Cedar Croft Nurseries based in Cornwall. The project involved getting really involved with the company to fully understand how the internet could be utilized for the company. Together we investigated the expectations of various customers and this allowed the ultimate design to be formulated.The brochure type Web site is coded using modern standards XHTML and CSS for structure, PHP for interactive features and utilizing javascript for a number of website features. THe main banner rollover image was developed using Adobe Flash and embedded into the site. We also integrated a number of e-marketing communications, RSS feeds that are managed using specialist e-marketing software.
The whole business is planned to be migrated to the internet. In this case this will include an SQL database which will record and manage availability for all items sold with the company. Essentially it will allow for the development of a forward selling management system that will streamline operations and allow for monitoring and analysis. This is a huge job to undertake and is expected to be up and running by early 2010. The site development and consultancy from Inspired Development has allowed Cedar Croft Nurseries to fully understand the possibilities for the internet in their business.
We are undertaking various modular web developments for Cedar Croft over the next 12 months, managing the web site and undertaking a substantial Search Engine Optimisation campaign and a number of other exciting projects.
